We ordered Yanni's for end of the month work at lunch. There were 12 of us- all with challenging orders.
I called right when they opened to put in the order to be picked up 3hrs later.
All food was hot and fresh right at the designated pickup time. The price was very fair for 12 people's lunch and the order was perfectly accurate.
All people at work loved the food! -

I have been coming to Yanni's my whole life and still tell everyone I meet that there isn't a better Greek restaurant in Columbus. I have tried as many as I can and nothing has been better. This time around I got a lamb gyro, the large is insanely big. Tons of meat and lots of veggies, you can't go wrong with their gyros. I also go the kopaniski, which is a feta cheese mixed with their homemade hot sauce (they won't share the secret recipe). You dip pita in it and it's probably the best Greek appetizer ever.
My wife got the veggies to start as well, please go try this Columbus staple out and tell me it's not the best, but if you do please share another must have Greek restaurant in Columbus. -

Who knew there was treasure gold in the strip shopping center behind the strip club, Sirens?
My boyfriend and I are on the search most recently to crown the best gyro in Columbus. I think we've found a contender here at Yanni's that will be hard to beat.
We sat in the dining room on a Friday evening and it was all a buzz. Families & couples packed the rear of this strip mall hole in the wall.
We started with the hummus platter. Just go ahead and order extra pita immediately. It's fresh and warm and the perfect scoop for this ridiculously delicious garlicky hummus. (Bring breath mints if you're self conscious of having garlic breath!)
I had the gyro salad and my boyfriend had the regular gyro. We loved both of these similar dishes and portions were large, so we each barely finished.
This is very obviously a local, family-run spot and I loved that about the service and our server. He was an older gentleman with corny jokes and really sweet to us knowing it was our first visit. Definitely don't be afraid to eat-in here for the experience.
We brought home dessert because the pastry case was calling to us and wouldn't let us leave without it. Baklava cheesecake? What!!? It was amazing! -

Wow. I haven't been here in a while and this place still has the Best Horiatiki salad I have tasted yet. My Mom had the gyro which she loved and for dessert we had tiramisu and almond cookies. So these little powdery bits of heaven will have you hooked. Just wait...
